At the 2017 HSAS Annual General Meeting (AGM), in anticipation of the amalgamation of the twelve former health regions into the single Saskatchewan Health Authority, HSAS Bylaw resolutions were passed, which allowed for the continued usage of the former health region geographical boundaries for determining Delegate representation to future AGMs or Special Meetings. Each geographical region is now called a Union Region and is numbered 1 through 12.
A Member’s Union Region is determined by the community in which their designated work base is located.
